AI to Replace All Developers by Next Year, Claims Company That Somehow Still Employs Developers
The reign of arrogant keyboard monarchs may finally be over.

In a bold move that shocked absolutely nobody, tech company HyperSynapse announced its revolutionary AI tool will “replace all software developers by Q2 next year”, even as its own engineering team scrambled to prevent the servers melting in their racks.
“We’re confident this time it’s real”, said CEO Barnaby Fishguard, a man who once tried to trademark the word “algorithm”.
“People have been predicting the end of programmers since punch cards. But now, thanks to our proprietary blend of buzzwords and hyperbole, we’re finally there”.
Critics remain sceptical. “People have been saying this for decades”, said one developer while sipping a cold brew and subtly judging your correspondents lack of technical expertise.
Still, the internet is abuzz with optimism; largely from individuals who had an app idea in 2007 but never learned to code and now see AI as the sweetest vindication.
“If AI replaces all the devs, maybe my idea for Tinder for pets will finally get built” said one Twitter user, completely serious.
